What we do

Three women stand together, smiling at the camera. The centre woman wears a white blouse with a large wooden necklace, while the others wear light tops and stand close beside her.

Menopause services

We are a dedicated team of GPs specialising in menopause care, working closely together to provide exceptional, personalised support. With decades of combined experience, we’ve seen firsthand how the right treatment and guidance can transform this stage of life into one of renewed confidence and well-being.

HRT for Menopause

Our HRT services provide safe, tailored treatment to ease symptoms such as hot flushes, brain fog, mood changes, joint pains, vulval symptoms and poor sleep. With options including estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, or non-hormonal alternatives, we create a personalised plan to support your health and wellbeing through menopause.

Testosterone for Menopause

Testosterone therapy can help improve energy, mood, and libido for some women during and after menopause. Our Menopause doctors provide safe, evidence-based prescriptions and monitoring, ensuring treatment is tailored to your needs and fully integrated into your wider menopause care.

How the online clinic works

At The Menopause Partnership, we listen, we guide, and we work with you to create a plan that fits your needs – whether that’s HRT, testosterone therapy, lifestyle advice, or simply a reassuring conversation. Our mission is to help you feel informed, confident, and truly supported as you navigate your menopause journey.

Three women sitting around a wooden table in a bright, modern room with large windows overlooking a garden. One woman in a green patterned dress is smiling while looking at a laptop in front of her. Another woman in a red suit with a patterned scarf sits opposite, watching attentively with a relaxed posture. A third woman is partially visible in the foreground. Books about menopause are on the table, suggesting a supportive discussion or consultation setting.

Frequently asked questions

We do not charge extra for providing a private prescription during your appointment, but the actual cost of the medication is payable separately to our partner pharmacy.

We can send your prescription to a remote pharmacy that will get in touch with you to arrange payment and delivery.  Some women ask their NHS GP to issue the prescription instead  this is up to the individual GP.

Sometimes we recommend blood tests to support your care – this could be to look at hormone levels, check your general health, or assess suitability for specific treatments.

Blood tests aren’t usually necessary for diagnosing menopause. However, they may be useful for understanding your overall health or planning treatment and are an essential part of safely prescribing and monitoring testosterone replacement.

As we’re a remote service, blood tests are arranged at a partner clinic near you

Once your blood test results are back, they’ll be reviewed by one of our clinicians. You’ll receive an email with:
– Your test results
– A summary of what they mean
– Any next steps, such as changes to your plan or a prescription

We aim to keep the process clear and personal, so you understand exactly what’s happening.

Yes, we can prescribe testosterone when it’s appropriate  usually for women who are already on HRT but still experiencing low energy or libido.

We do require regular monitoring to prescribe it safely. This includes blood tests at 3 months, 6 months, then every 12 months once stable. We’ll help you stay on track with this.

They might – but it’s up to them. We’re a private service and don’t have direct links to NHS practices. Some GPs are happy to continue treatment based on our recommendations; others may not. We always give you a copy of your treatment plan to share if you wish.

If you need follow-up advice, have questions about medication, or want to discuss new symptoms, we offer shorter review and phone appointments. These are available to existing patients for an additional fee and are a good way to keep things on track without needing a full consultation.

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

HRT can be life-changing in reducing hot flushes, brain fog, mood changes, sleep issues, and more. Some women notice improvements within a few weeks, while for others it can take a few months to feel the full benefit.

It’s also common to experience some early side effects as your body adjusts, such as breast tenderness, bloating, or mild bleeding – these often settle on their own.

Testosterone

We prescribe testosterone to women who remain fatigued or have a low sex drive despite being on HRT.

This treatment is monitored closely with blood tests. We’ll check your levels at 3 months, then yearly once stable, to ensure safety and effectiveness. It can take several months to notice changes in energy, mood, or libido.
