Consultations
What to expect
We offer both online and face-to-face consultations, giving you the flexibility to choose the option that best suits your needs.
Once you’ve booked your appointment, you’ll receive a secure pre-consultation questionnaire to complete before your consultation. This allows us to review your medical history, current symptoms, medications and treatment goals in advance, helping us make the best use of your appointment.
During your consultation, you’ll meet with one of our experienced menopause doctors. We’ll take time to understand your symptoms, discuss how they’re affecting your daily life, review your medical history, and answer any questions you may have.
Together, we’ll develop a personalised management plan based on your individual needs. This may include lifestyle advice, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), non-hormonal treatments, testosterone where appropriate, or recommendations for further investigations if needed.
Following your consultation, you’ll receive a detailed clinic letter summarising your assessment, treatment plan and any recommendations. With your consent, we can also send a copy to your GP to support joined-up care.

Blood Tests
Where blood tests are clinically appropriate, we can arrange these through our partner laboratory, Medichecks. Samples are taken at one of Medichecks’ nationwide clinics, with results sent directly to your clinician for review.
Hormone blood tests are not routinely required to diagnose perimenopause or menopause in women over the age of 45. Where blood tests are recommended, this is because the results are likely to influence diagnosis, exclude other conditions or guide treatment.
All blood test prices include the Medichecks laboratory test, venous blood collection at a Medichecks clinic, and review and interpretation of your results by a clinician at The Menopause Partnership.
